The work "1945" consists of three parts: a yellow tableau with the figure "1945" behind a cordon, a second monochrome painting, coloured with the same yellow, flammable colour at the same wall in the adjoining room and a performance at the academy gallery Nuremberg on the occasion of the opening. The monochrome painting was inflamed, so that the black surface of today accured. Arno Hamburger the chairman of the jewish community and alderman of Nuremberg reported after the "picture brand" about his own experiences 1945 in Nuremberg.
